According to the information going around the net, Xiaomi is working on the next series for the Mi Note smartphone released last year. The Mi Note 2 is expected to be announced on September 5. For the time being, a new leaked image shows a dual-curved glass panel of the Mi Note 2.
The new Mi Note 2 leaked images resembles the new Samsung’s Galaxy S7 Edge. Samsung’s smartphone features dual-curved edges like the ones presented on Xiaomi’s alleged model.
The glass panels suggest the Mi Note 2 may feature a new physical home button at the bottom of the front panel. Xiaomi is also anticipated to embed the fingerprint scanner on the same home button.
Xiaomi is also supposed to release the Redmi 4 on August 25. The Redmi 4 is going to be the manufacturer’s budget phone

There are rumors suggesting the Mi Note 2 might be launched on either August 25 or September 5. The curved version of the Mi Note 2 will come with Quad HD resolution while the flat screen variant will be limited to full HD resolution.
The Mi Note 2 borrows some of the iPhone 6S features
The tablet will come in two variants, one with 4gb and the other with 6gb of RAM. The smartphone will also feature 64gb and 128gb options. The handset runs on a Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor which offers 10% better performance than the Snapdragon 820.
Xiaomi’s new smartphone will feature a metal build unibody and a fingerprint scanner that also works as a home button. The leaked image of the smartphone hints at the comeback of the Mi logo at the front left side.
Phone radar reported that the 4GB RAM version of the Mi Note 2 with 64GB internal storage would cost $375, and the 6gb RAM with 128GB Storage would carry a $420 price tag.

Xiaomi’s Redmi 4 could end up being the king of the budget smartphones
On related Xiaomi’s release news, the manufacturer announced the Redmi 4. It will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The Redmi 4 will use a Snapdragon 625 chipset with 3gb Ram. The Snapdragon 625 employs an octa-core Cortex-A53 processor clocked at 2GHz and a new Adreno 506 GPU.
The smartphone will have a 5-inch 1080p touchscreen, a metal model body, and a fingerprint scanner. The Redmi 4 uses a 4.100 mAh battery with fast charge support. Allegedly, the smartphone will be officially announced on August 25. The cheapest version of the phone will feature 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage with $105 price tag.
The Redmi 4 also presents a brand new set of sensors. They include an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and GPS. Finally, the Xiaomi’s phone will include Geo-tagging, touch focus, face, and smile detection, HDR, and panorama features.
