Ahead of the upcoming release of the latest video game console by Microsoft, the American company has announced earlier this Tuesday that they will be launching the Xbox One S in two bundled versions starting on August 23.
After rumors of a hardware-revised version of the current flagship console by Microsoft, the company officially revealed the Xbox One S to the world during the E3 back in June. The gaming device is scheduled to release next week on Tuesday, the 2nd of August with a starting price of $299.
For $299, gaming enthusiasts can get a bundled 500GB Xbox One S paired with the latest Halo title: “Halo 5: Guardians”.
As part of their exclusive signature franchises, the Halo package will come with five games of the iconic first-person shooter series along with a corresponding wireless controller.
On the other hand, the Madden NFL 17 bundle will be offered for 1TB consoles with a price tag of $349. The offer comes as the result of an alliance with EA Sports, and it will grant buyers with the game above, one month of EA Access for free, and seven Madden Ultimate Team Pro Packs.
The bundles announcement comes after previous reports by Microsoft stating that it would cut the price of the original 500GB model of the Xbox One to $249 in the U.S. for a limited period.
Xbox One S: Faster, Stronger, and Slimmer
Nearly three years since the release of the original Xbox One, the Xbox One S promises to deliver better performance in a stylish new case come August.
The console officially joined the Xbox family of products a little over a month ago, when it was announced that the “robot white”-colored device would launch in the upcoming months. With a body and case, 40 percent smaller than its predecessor, the Xbox One S packs a lot of power in a tight package.
The refreshed version of the device will support High Dynamic Range in games and video, making the case for a genuinely neat experience whether you watch a movie, stream a video or play your favorite games.
The latest in game development by Microsoft will also support 4K Ultra HD video streaming and will be able to play Blu-ray films, as well as offering the ever-increasing selection of online content providers.
Furthermore, the compact console will feature Kinect compatibility through an Xbox Kinect Adapter and will come with a revamped Xbox Wireless Controller, which is also. Microsoft has also recently launched a new online platform that allows players to customize their new controllers, the Design Lab, ahead of the launch of the Xbox One S.
Players will be able to get their hands on the newest console by the American tech mogul as soon as next week, with a third limited-edition 2TB model retailing at $399 available later.
The recently announced bundle options will be available for purchase in North America, New Zealand, and Australia on August 23 at official stores in said locations.
