On August 11, Poticha announced the system requirements needed for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided at the Steam’s website. Poticha described the minimum and recommended PC system specifications to run the game.
The game is hardware friendly, and at the bare minimum, it requires an Intel Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent. Also, the PC must have 8GB RAM, whooping 45GB free space, and it must run on 64-bit Windows 7.1SP1 or above. Surprisingly, a modest NVIDIA GTX 660 or an HD 7870 can handle the graphics.
However, exigent players that want to experience Mankind Divided at its fullest will need a top gaming PC. The list begins with an Intel Core i7-3770K or an AMD FX 8350 Wraith. However, the new AMD RX 480 would be a better option. Poticha said people needed 16GB RAM, and about 60GB free space ready. That is for people who want to get the DLCs.
Mankind Divided portrays the dark side of humanity
The game will feature protagonist Adam Jensen returning as part of an Interpol special force created to fight augmented terrorist. The title takes place two years after 2011’s title Human Revolution. An incident called the “Aug Incident” saw augmented humans lose their minds to become violent creatures. The world now hates augmented beings.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will also include a new mode called ‘Breach.’ On the breach mode, the player will control a Ripper. The Ripper’s objective is to steal and sell highly classified corporate data by infiltrating some of the world’s most secure servers. Successfully selling the data will award the player funds, These funds can be used to upgrade both skills and arsenal.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be available for Windows PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. The release date is set for August 23, 2016. The game was developed by Eidos Montreal and Nixxes Software. Square Enix will publish the sequel to Deus Ex: Human Revolution launched in 2011.
The game will hit Steam first
The sixth title in the franchise is already available for pre-order on Steam. The gaming store included a Digital Deluxe Edition Bundle for $90, a Steam Controller Bundle for $90, and a Digital Deluxe Bundle with the Steam controller for $120.
The preloading will begin at Steam on Friday, August 19th. At 9:00 PDT / 18:00 CEST. As for console owners, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is already pre-loading on Xbox One, and it will start pre-loading on Playstation 4 on Sunday, August 21st.
Sony customers who pre-orderer the $60 Digital Standard Edition through the PlayStation Store will receive additional benefits. Sony’s Digitial Standard Edition will include an extra mission, a digital novella, a digital artbook, the Covert Agent Pack, a digital comic, and a unique PlayStation 4 theme. The bundle will be officially launched on August 23.
