Playstation’s Now Senior Marketing Manager, Brian Dunn, revealed on Monday that PS NOW will include PS4 games to its catalog. The release date for PS4 titles on PS now was not mentioned.
PlayStation Now is a cloud gaming service. The platform allows its users to play games on PS4 or PC via streaming, no downloads are required. Sony believes that these games were designed to play using controllers for the best experience, so it is mandatory to use a DualShock controllers (3 or 4) to use the service.
Sony strongly advises having a 5Mbps internet connect at the very least to enjoy the service. Sony is currently offering a seven-day free trial on PS Now. The catalog includes over 400 PS3 games. To claim the free trial, users need a free Sony Entertainment Network account, PS Now compatible device (PS4 or Windows PC) and a Dualshock controller.
Needless to say, you have got to agree with Sony PS Network’s Terms of Service.
Windows PC requirements and Subscription
The 7 Day Free Trial gives full access to the PlayStation Now game subscription catalog. After the first seven days, a 1-month subscription will automatically kick in. Each month of PS Now costs $19.99. A credit card or another payment method needs to be affiliated with the PS Network account.
To avoid being charged for the first month after testing the service, you will have to cancel the subscription before the 8th day. The trial is only available for new subscribers. It can only be used once per user and per account. The free trial is only available for American and Canadian citizens 18 years old or older.
The minimum PC requirements for PS Now are Windows 7 (SP 1), 8.1 or 10, Core i3 2.0 GHz, 300 MB, 2 GB RAM, Sound card; USB port.
