The official release for the specs of the Samsung Galaxy S7 is still not there, yet it looks like the rain of details on the device is going to be un-ending.
A video on a Samsung Indonesia website offers the tagline “Get ready for #TheNextGalaxy.” The clip is posted alongside a timeline that hints at the Galaxy S7.
More specifically, the video features Indonesian archer Dellie Threesyadinda. In it, she takes out an S series device during one of her intense training sessions. In one scene the device is removed from a wireless charger. A later scene shows her using the phone in the rain as drops bounce harmlessly off the screen.
The S7 needs to make a great impression on the buyers as its predecessor, the S6 and S6 Edge, have failed top provide any significant boost to the overall sales of the company.Samsung has suffered from competition by highly competitively priced Chinese devices in the low-end market – including the likes of Xiaomi and Huawei – and Apple in the high-end one.

As of now, Samsung has declined to make a statement regarding the waterproof abilities of its upcoming device.
It is also expected that the company is planning to unveil the S7 in Barcelona on February 22nd, Indonesia time, which is equivalent to February 21 in Barcelona. Nothing is confirmed as of now when it comes to the specs of the S7 or the curved S7 Edge, still rumors have constantly made their way to the internet concerning both devices.
Latest rumors indicate at a larger 5.1 inches wide display for the S7 as compared to the S6. Reports also suggest that Samsung has dumped the idea of a larger S7 Edge+ in favor of making the S7 Edge the larger device. It is also being speculated that the device may feature Samsung’s version of Apple’s Force Touch and a microSD card slot. Presence of eye scanner along with the fingerprint scanner is also being discussed.
