A new crew will soon roam the streets of Los Santos in the next update for the acclaimed ‘Grand Theft Auto Online.’ The video game developers at Rockstar Games announced that biker gangs would take over the multiplayer experience of ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ in the upcoming months.
The update was just called ‘Bikers’ by the Rockstar team, and it will include a variety of new features for the co-op organized crime game. Players can group themselves into a Motorcycle Club and take on missions to go up the criminal ladder in the broken city of Los Santos.
The announcement comes over three years later after the main single-player title ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ was released back in September 2013. The multiplayer video game went live just a couple of weeks after and it has received continuous support and additions throughout the years ever since its launch.
Band up and become a respected Motorcycle Club in GTA Online
Rockstar Games stepped up their co-op mode game with the introduction of organized crime schemes to the world of ‘GTA Online.’ Initial updates and missions included heists and robberies of different natures, but the crown jewel was the addition of the ‘Further Adventures in Finance and Felony’ back in early June.
This new mode has been widely praised for its versatility, as it allows players to take part in Organizations and become powerful corrupt CEOs. It is a different criminal face in contrast to the usual, sometimes too straightforward crime featured in the GTA universe. Now, the ‘Bikers’ update intends to do away with the subtlety and bring powerful engines to the roads of Los Santos in a similar fashion.
“PLAYERS WILL BE ABLE TO FORM AND LEAD YOUR VERY OWN MOTORCYCLE CLUB FOR UP TO 8 PLAYERS. BIKERS WILL INTRODUCE NEW ROLES TO PLAY FROM PROSPECTS TO CLUB PRESIDENTS WITH A MASSIVE SLATE OF NEW COMPETITIVE AND CO-OP GAMEPLAY,” the developers state on their official site announcement.
MCs and Organizations will compete in GTA Online
Motorcycle Club Clubhouses on ‘GTA Online’ will also count with an in-house Bike Mechanic for all the fixes and customization needs your crew may have. The ‘Bikers’ update will also bring several new features for characters including new outfits, tattoos, weapons, styles, and more.
Of course, coming up with the option of creating biker gangs also implies that several new vehicle-based missions will be available in the game. Rockstar suggested that both Motorcycle Clubs and Organizations would clash with rising criminal forces in ‘GTA Online.’
The ‘Bikers’ update still has no official release date, but the developers have stated that it will be a free add-on to the game, so players only need to stay tuned.
