Rockstar has taken 4 or 5 years to release every entry in the franchise, and this time, experts expect no difference from that. Also, giving the fact that it has been barely three years (2 if you take into account GTA: Online release) since the last entry, we are looking forward to an announcement in 2017 and a possibly release date of 2018.

What is more, most entries in the franchise are done at the begging or ending of a console generation and considering the recent release of the slim version of the PlayStation 4, at least three more years of the current gen will have to pass. These are not great signs for a soon announcement (let alone the possibility of the release) of the next Grand Theft Auto VI, but the Internet will still provide whole new interesting rumors to keep gamers entertain while they keep their watch.
