HTC launched the JBL Reflect Aware C earbuds last week, and the company is giving them away for free with the purchase of the HTC 10 from its website to celebrate the launch of the new product.

The USB Type-C earbuds price is of $199 individually and the HTC 10 price is of $699 (Last month the company had it with a $100 off discount, but it is back to normal).

Besides the free earbuds, with the purchase of the HTC 10, the company is giving $100 of accessory credit to spend in as many accessories.

According to the company, anyone who buys the smartphone from a retail partner will get the $100 credit once the device is registered on HTC.com. If people want the USB Type-C earbuds for free, they have to buy the smartphone directly from HTC.com.

The promotion will last for the rest of the month, or until the supplies run out.

JBL Reflect Aware C Earphones are good for exercising

The earbuds were listed on HTC’s website since the release of the HTC 10, but it was not until last week that they were available for purchase. They were made specifically for devices with a USB Type-C port, and they come with reflective cables and an in-line microphone.

They have 14.8 mm dynamic drivers, frequency response of 10 Hz to 22 Hz and are sweat proof. They also have an active noise cancellation and adaptive noise control.

With all of these features, they are considered an excellent option for those who like to exercise and focus on the music while working out.
