On October 18, Rockstar Games confirmed a sequel for Red Dead Redemption and added a new trailer was going to release tomorrow. The company is world-famous for its GTA franchise, but Red Dead Redemption has also become a classic.

The first title featured a Western open-world map. It launched six years ago and was well-received by both the critics and the audiences.

Rockstar Games said Red Dead Redemption 2 was going to release in fall 2017 for the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. Also, the game maker announced an official trailer that is going to be available tomorrow on YouTube and Twitch.

The announcing post already has more than 2000 comments. Mostly, fans praising the game and speculating about the upcoming trailer. The article is very short, but it has a lot of good news for the franchise followers.

Red Dead Redemption Online

Rockstar said the game was going to introduce a large map based on North America’s heartland. The company added the scenario would create the foundations for an exciting project, Red Dead Redemption Online.

It is not clear if the sequel will be online or just will set the tone for another game, but news outlets claim the company already owns the RedDeadOnline.com domain. According to the reports, Take-Two, Rockstar Games’ parent company, registered the URL.

However, the address redirects users to a Rockstar Newswire post featuring the artwork studio the game maker used in Red Dead Redemption 2’s poster.

After the studio confirmed the sequel, an online game was not surprising. The huge GTA V’s success has a lot to do with the online installment. GTA Online has made at least $500 million in revenue from microtransactions.

The artwork shows seven different characters wielding weapons beneath a red sky

Rockstar Games revealed a poster that shows seven armed characters, but their identities remain a mystery.

People that played Red Dead Redemption know the protagonist of the first installment is not among those men. His story concluded during the first game, but his son, Jack Marston, is a strong candidate to carrying on the leading role in the sequel.

Part of the speculation will end tomorrow when the new trailer goes live. People who want to watch it can do so on YouTube and Twitch at 11 am Eastern Standard Time.
