The Xbox Game Pass is a new service that allows the player to download free arcade games, it also offers one of the most attractive gaming software in the industry today, providing a massive amount of games that are available for streaming for only $10 per month.
Microsoft is yet to announce the release date for the most comparable gaming platform to Netflix.What it’s known about it, though, is that the company is sorting exclusive game deals to be released with the game pass due to the harsh competition for top-rated exclusives and features.
“We’ve only scratched the surface of the opportunity this new model brings to the industry and what we can deliver to our fans. We firmly believe Xbox Game Pass will be a catalyst to create new opportunities for game developers and publishers to innovate in the way games are developed and delivered, leading to entirely new ways to play,” said Spencer.
Xbox Game Pass will bring exclusive titles to players
The Xbox Game Pass will feature new exclusive releases simultaneously with its release, one of the most anticipated ones being Sea of Thieves, since it features a brand new open world gaming experience. It will also include Xbox all-time classic franchises like Halo, Forza, and Gears of War that will be available upon release date.
Among other games, Game Pass subscribers will also be getting titles such as State of Decay 2 and Crackdown 3. Of course, the system is available exclusively to last-gen players, meaning that it works only with Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X consoles.
Over a hundred playable games from the original Xbox and Xbox 360 will be added to the Netflix-like catalog each month. It will not only feature exclusive releases, but it will allow you to take a trip down memory lane and revisit previously played games from the 360 console as long as the title is available on the platform.

Xbox Game Pass: classics and new titles on the same console
Payment methods will be the way they’ve always been, a yearly subscription will be $60 and monthly payments will be $9,99. Microsoft loyalists will certainly find it pleasing that yet another game service doesn’t increase costs from the industry standard.
Also, not all titles are exclusively blasts from the past. Xbox announced and confirmed that as soon as the Game Pass is launched, gamers will have access to the newest Halo, Forza, and Gears of Wars titles.“The number one request from our customers… was to get new blockbuster games into Game Pass,” explains Microsoft’s games chief, Phil Spencer, in an interview with The Verge.
