The Razer Blade Pro is the most powerful gaming laptop that Razer can offer. With a cost of $3,699, the 17.3-inch laptop has 4K resolutions, a mechanical keyboard, and is VR ready to provide a desktop-like gaming experience.
Released back in November last year, the Blade Pro is the top-tier option in Razer’s lineup. The entry-level Razer Blade Stealth costs $899 while the standard Razer Blade starts shipping at $1,799.
The company also showcased at CES 2017 the world’s first triple display laptop, codenamed Project Valerie. It was just an experimental device, but it managed to spark enough interest for thieves to steal a couple of laptops during the event.
Razer Blade Pro: Specs and Design
The Razer Blade Pro comes in a sharply designed aluminum body that not only makes it durable but also lightweight. At just 0.88 inches thick and 7.80 lbs, the laptop packs an impressive amount of power.
It features a 17.3-inch IGZO (Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide) multi-touch display, capable of streaming content and playing games at UHD 4K resolutions. It also supports Adobe RGB for 100% color fidelity, perfect for graphic designers.
Razer used its signature ultra-low-profile mechanical keyboard on the Blade Pro, complete with 16.8 million color backlight combinations using the system’s Razer Chroma.
Under the hood, the Blade Pro has a 6th generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processor, with Hyper-Threading capabilities up to 3.5 GHz. NVIDIA brings the graphic processing power with a GeForce GTX 1080 GPU.
The gaming laptop comes with 32 GB of DDR4 RAM, and it comes in three different SSD storage configurations: 512 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB.
