Attracting as many as 60,000 visitors and followed online by up to 7 million people, the program for Oracle OpenWorld San Francisco includes keynotes from Oracle executives and partners as well as sessions and workshops.

After the acquisition of Sun Microsystems by Oracle Corporation in 2010, the conference has been held concurrently with Oracle OpenWorld. The annual event, inaugurated in 1996 by Sun to discuss Java technologies, takes place in San Francisco at hotels on Mason Street, nearby the Moscone Center.
