On Thursday, Instagram introduced their latest set of features, which include a new video capture mode called Superzoom and an array of themed creative tools for Halloween. You’ll be able to enjoy a variety of scary filters and stickers starting today through November 1.

The popular photo and video sharing platform is arguably the most popular social network right now among a wide range of consumers from all ages, but its parent company, Facebook, remains the king with its self-titled site and more than 1 billion users.

Facebook, Twitter, and Google are set to appear in front of Congress and the Senate intelligence committees next week to testify in regards to whether or not their platforms enabled interference from Russian agents during the 2016 Presidential Election.

How to use Superzoom on Instagram

So let’s say you are tired of your traditional video modes on Instagram. Boomerangs have lost their magic and you are bored of watching rewinding videos on your feed over and over again. Your life could use some more drama.

Enter Superzoom. This new mode is pretty much self-explanatory, and it allows users to spice up their videos and later share them with their friends. After updating, you will find a new Superzoom tab next to the Boomerang one in your camera, and tapping on it will trigger the new capture mode.

Once you hit record, the camera will start capturing a short video that zooms dramatically paired with some suspenseful tune. As always, you can share the results with others directly or upload them as a story.

These are the new Halloween filters and stickers on Instagram

Of course, no yearly event of Halloween’s magnitude would be complete without a set of themed stickers and filters to celebrate. Instagram brings you just enough new ways to change your look and share with your friends during the spookiest time of the year.

If you don’t feel like taking a whole video or using Superzoom with scary purposes, then you can just use one of the several face filters now available to scare your friends. You can turn into a vampire, a zombie, or a ghost, or fool your friends into thinking your hunting spirits or got lost in the mist.

You can also adorn your pictures with spider web frames, candy corn icons, zombie hand stickers, pumpkins, devil horns, eyeballs, and more. Hurry up, though, you got until next Wednesday to try them all if you want to leave a lasting impression on your Instagram followers this Halloween.
