Recently, Google had released the Android N developers preview on Nexus devices, and now, it looks like the first update has started rolling out. So, if you have a device that has the Android N installed on it, check for the updates. Google is pushing out a small download for these devices and that is the first such update for the preview version.
As of now, it looks like the updates are just there for limited devices, namely, the Nexus 6P and 5X smartphones, and the Nexus 9, both the WiFi and LTE versions.
For those who like to do things manually, Google has also made new images for the Android N developer Preview available. However, for other users, OTA updates are available through the beta program.

Talking of the UI enhancements, there is not much of change in that department. The addition of apps can’t do an overall change to an operating system, however, it looks like the Android N is trying to get better of those restrictions. Some things like the addition of the native quick settings tile are indicative of this move.
With the latest update, it appears as if the developers are ready to provide the option of an app settings link in app info. The app info screen allows the user to view several options, including permissions, notification status and data storage amongst others. With the addition of the application settings in the form of a tool symbol, it will be easier for the user to access the part of the settings.
For developers, all they need to do in order to incorporate this feature is to add a string to their manifest, by using the value android.intent.action. APPLICATION _PREFERENCES.
