On Monday, Bethesda’s Associate Content Manager, Anne Lewis announced the sixth DLC for Fallout 4. Its name is ‘Vacationing in Nuka World‘ and features post-apocalyptic amusement park packed with Raiders and beasts. The DLC is available for Xbox One, PS4, and Windows PC.
The Lead Level Designer, Justin Schram, described the DLC as a bit smaller than the previous one. The density of content packed in the theme park makes up for the actual size.
Nuka World has six different themed zones to explore: ‘Galactic Zone,’ ‘Dry Rock Gulch,’ ‘Safari Adventure,’ ‘World of Refreshment,’ ‘Kiddie Kingdom,’ and ‘Nuka-Town USA.’
As you enter the park and defeat the Raider’s Overboss, you become the new gang leader. The DLC also includes a new Raider Companion. The companion will guide through the new Overboss in his new role.

Nuka World features three new types of Raiders, and the Pack worship animals as if they were superiors to humans. They train animals to fight and keep people as slaves.
The Operators are the high-class Raider gang. They prefer to kill in a rather efficient way by doing so stealthily. The Disciples are a masked gang only interested in destruction and murder.
The DLC features a new Raider gameplay. The gangs fortified themselves at the Nuka World, USA. As the Overboss you are tasked with exploring and conquering the remaining zones of the amusement park. Once conquered the Overboss decides which gangs are going to control specific areas.
As the game moves on, the Overboss can take his followers out to the Commonwealth. Out in the ‘World Map,’ you decide how to interact with the settlements. Gangs can either wipe every population they find or convince its settlers to leave its possessions and go.
Nuka World release date, armors, and weapons
Vacationing in Nuka World also features a new set of armors and weapons. The pack offers over-the-top outfits with more fierce and violent shapes while the Operators use sophisticated armor sets with a more stylized look.
As for the Weapons, the DLC added fun and deadly weapons to the Game. Nuka-World’s Paddleball is a modifiable weapon. It can be used with spikes, or with a nitroglycerin bomb-effect.
The Nuka-Girl’s Zapper is a new blaster added to the game. Lastly, there’s the messier Acid Soaker. It sprays enemies with acid until they completely melt.
“WE CHOSE TO DO A THEME PARK BECAUSE WE KNEW WE WOULD HAVE A TON OF OPPORTUNITIES TO TRY DIFFERENT STUFF THAT ENTERTAINED US AS PLAYERS WHO HAVE PLAYED THE GAME OVER AND OVER DURING THE DEVELOPMENT,” Said Lead Artist Mark Teare.
Nuka-World costs $19.99 as a separate purchase for those who don’t have a season pass. The DLC released today, August 30, 2016.
