Dell kicked off its participation at Computex 2017 on Tuesday with three new AMD Ryzen-based Inspiron Gaming computers. One of them is an affordable desktop tower, while the other two are all-in-ones (AIO). They are all available in China starting today.

Tech enthusiasts and experts have given their early impressions of the latest Inspiron products shipped by Dell, and they are particularly pleased with the design of the AIO computers. These do not follow industry conventions on what “gaming” design represents, opting for a sleek look instead.

The Texan firm joins ASUS as the first ones out of the gate with Ryzen-based products. ASUS presented new ZenBook and VivoBook laptops on Monday, but it was earlier today when it revealed the first ever gaming laptop packing Ryzen chips.

The Inspiron Gaming Desktop starts at $599

Dell’s first gaming rig is the very straightforward Inspiron Gaming Desktop. You can recognize it as a PC for gamers because of its case, which lets users peek inside with either a breathable mesh cover or a traditional transparent lid. It is designed to be a tower with scalable specs to meet even the highest demands.

Inside, gamers can choose to power their system with either middle or high-end AMD Ryzen chips that cap at the Ryzen 7 1700. For graphics, you can go the AMD way with a Radeon RX 580 or the NVIDIA way with a GeForce GTX 1060.

It supports up to 32 GB of DDR4 RAM, 2 TB of HDD and 256 GB of SSD storage. Dell’s Inspiron Gaming Desktop has a built-in cooling system, Polar Blue LED lighting, and it supports upgrades that could easily put it in the $2,000 range.

Dell’s Inspiron 27 7000 AIO is ready for VR

The defining feature of the Dell Inspiron 27 7000 is its beautiful 4K InfinityEdge display, which at 27 inches supports wide-angle viewing and HDR10 content playback.

Last-gen, octa-core Ryzen processors like the ones available in the Gaming Desktop, are also an option in the Inspiron 27 7000. AMD Radeon RX 500 series of GPUs inside mean that the all-in-one is more than ready to play VR games and experiences.

Up to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, 1 TB of HDD, and 256 GB of SSD storage are supported by Dell on the AIO machine. It starts at $999.99, and the back lid is removable so you can upgrade components if you wish later on.

The Inspiron 24 5000 AIO is designed for streaming

The Inspiron 24 5000 is the smaller and plastic brother of the Inspiron 27 7000, and it was designed to be an affordable yet powerful alternative for streamers. It features the same InfinityEdge as the 27, but this one’s max resolutions are Full HD (1920 x 1080).

However, it is the only one of the lineup not to be powered by AMD’s new Ryzen chips, opting for previous generations instead to keep costs down. RAM also tops at 16 GB and storage at 1 TB HDD only, but there are still cool features that set it apart from the bunch.

SmartByte technology, for instance, comes integrated into the DNA of the AIO, letting users prioritize video streaming traffic and experience content and media in ways they hadn’t before. It starts at $699.99, and like all products, in the lineup, it will be available in the U.S. and other markets apart from China this summer.
