Los Angeles is the scenario for The BlogHer Conference 2016. The event will run from August 4 to August 6 and gathers a mix of content creators, entrepreneurs, brands, activist, fans, and social media stars. Personalities from the industry will be offering their top tips to manage and create successful network communities.
The event is named BlogHer16, as the feminist part takes a protagonist role, just like previous installments. This year, the conference will feature a parade of millennial new faces speaking out on this issue.
Accordingly, the event is having Kim Kardashian West, Sarah Michelle Gellar (Cruel Intentions) and Mayim Bialik (The Big Bang Theory) as the key speakers. Singer Sheryl Crow will also be taking part on the main stage line up.
The event advertises itself as “the largest celebration of women content creators across social media, video, photos, and the web,” and the 12th commemoration of the conference begins with the question “Where are the women bloggers?”
#BlogHer16: Experts Amongst Us
The program presents six tracks in which speakers will be talking about the latest online media drivers, tools, ideas, critical industry trends, social agendas, and pressing social issues.
Networks AV Club, SheKnows Media, and Hatch Labs are the main organizers, and the speeches will center in the recommended tools and strategies to create, manage and maintain a money-maker blog, Youtube Channel or social media account.
SheKnows Media will be offering on-site and off-site SEO tips to increase the rank of visibility of a web page, and will help optimize content and images to improve a site’s discoverability.

They will also speak about strategies to grow one’s influence over the social medias, whereas the AV Club will teach about live broadcasting services such as Periscope and Facebook Live, and will give tools for promotion and distribution of a YouTube channel.
“YOUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL IS A VALUABLE ASSET FOR YOUR PERSONAL BRAND,” says the AV Club on the presentation of such conference.
Another discussion worth noting is “Make Your Own Movie” by HatchLabs, during a morning session where the media will teach younglings how to create music videos, documentary stories, and fiction using but a tablet.
All in all, content creation, optimization, and monetization inside the realm of the social medias are the thing to learn in #BlogHer16.
