It is not the first time someone says Drake doesn't write his own songs

The world-famous rappers Kanye West and Drake have fired back at Kid Cudi following some serious allegations he made on his Twitter account on Wednesday night. West and Drake responded to Cudi’s claims of them using ghostwriters for their songs even though they are world-class artists.

Kid Cudi’s accusations against Kanye follow a long-standing relationship of brotherhood at Kanye’s label G.O.O.D Music. The Cleveland rapper is not the first one to call out Drake for having someone else write his songs, as the rapper Meek Mill has said it too.

The Twitter rant by Kid Cudi is the latest addition to Drake’s hip-hop feuds, as he currently is in a beef with Meek Mill over almost the same allegations and with Joe Budden for other claims about his lyrics as well.

The problem traces all the way back to 2008 when Kanye West first discovered Kid Cudi . He listened to his mixtape ‘A Kid Named Cudi’. Kanye signed the 32-year-old rapper to his newfound music label G.O.O.D. Music and from there he propelled his career and made a name fo himself.

Kid Cudi parted ways with Kanye West and G.O.O.D Music in 2013, citing “business reasons” as the main argument for his decision, but remained friends with Kanye and even continued to praise him as a musician and as a brother.

Most recently, Cudi collaborated with West on his latest album ‘The Life of Pablo’ in two tracks: ‘Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1’ and ‘Waves.’

The Cleveland rapper, who is currently working on his sixth album, took to Twitter on Wednesday night seemingly out of nowhere to call out the “haters” and the “fake ones.” Cudi claimed he was “about to crush their entire existence,” but did not specify about who he was talking about.

Soon enough his followers found out, as he clearly stated his rant was directed at “Ye, Drake, whoever.” Kid Cudi continued saying people had kept him close out of fear and that they know he was a threat to them.

The most explicit shot taken at the rappers was a tweet in which he claimed Drake and Kanye had “30 people writing songs for them.”

Kanye and Drake immediately fired back at Kid Cudi

Both Kanye and Drake are currently on tour promoting their latest albums ‘The Life of Pablo’ and ‘Views,’ respectively. The two rappers are also working on a joint album set to release anytime soon.

During his ‘Saint Pablo Tour’ show at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida, Kanye West took to the stage to respond directly to Kid Cudi.

The acclaimed hip-hop artist mentioned his track record with Cudi as an artist since his beginnings and also brought up racial comments to the mix. Moreover, he seemed to take offense at Cudi calling both him and Drake out as they are currently recording together.

“I birthed you. We all dealing with that evil s*** all the time. Don’t ever mention ‘Ye name.’ Don’t try to say who I can do songs with. You mad ’cause I’m doing songs with Drake? Ain’t nobody tellin’ ‘Ye who to do songs with. Respect the god,” Kanye said.

Accordingly, Drake was performing at the Oracle Arena in Oakland as part of his ‘Summer Sixteen Tour’ when he took his shots at Kid Cudi. The ‘Hotline Bling’ singer claimed Cudi was getting “way too high” as a warning, and he congratulated Kanye on both of them performing sold-out shows that night.
