BioWare and EA released this Friday a new trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda ahead of its launch on March 21. The much-awaited game will come out for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
Andromeda is the latest installment in the Mass Effect series and the first to launch since the original trilogy ended back in 2012. This new journey takes us along with the Andromeda Initiative 600 years later.
The new Mass Effect comes after a busy week of releases in early March. The Nintendo Switch finally made its debut along with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Horizon: Zero Dawn as well as NieR: Automata came out around that same time.

Mass Effect: Andromeda players will have to save humanity
The latest trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda deals with some questions that are hard to answer. How to save the world if there is no world to save? How to save humanity if it is pending from a light thread?
Players get some hard-to-process information right in the first few seconds of the trailer and most likely in the first few minutes of gameplay: Pathfinders on the Andromeda Initiative have failed to find a suitable home for humans among the several Golden Worlds of the galaxy.
The crew carrying thousands of people in cryosleep lacks the resources to keep them all alive for much longer, so players will have to put on Ryder’s boots and set out to find a solution along with a small crew onboard of the Tempest.
Another exclusive trailer by IGN shows how different characters of the crew have different personalities and unique traits when interacting with them. Fans on YouTube and online communities have criticized the seemingly lifeless facial animation on the characters.
Mass Effect: Andromeda – System Requirements
Although the game is not out yet, PC Gamer has managed to come up with a list of recommended settings to play Mass Effect: Andromeda at 30 fps and 1080p without an issue.
Limited to processing components, the list says players with an Intel Core i3 3570, 8 GB of RAM, and either a 2 GB Nvidia GTX 660 or an AMD Radeon 770 should be all set to play the game on low settings.
A higher-end proposal consists of an Intel Core i7 4790, 16 GB of RAM, and a 3 GB GTX 1060 from Nvidia or a 4GB AMD RX 480.
Mass Effect: Andromeda launches on March 21 in the U.S. for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Players in Europe will have to wait until March 23, although Origin Access members on PC and EA Access subscribers on Xbox can play ten hours of the game starting on March 16.
