A new selection of games are coming to PlayStation. Sony’s Media Specialist, Ryan Clements has posted a new edition of ‘The Drop‘, a list of upcoming titles to the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. Most of the releases will be available digitally via the PlayStation Store starting today, with a couple of exceptions coming on August 7th and 9th.
‘The Drop’ starts with Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II. A sequel to the awarded 2013 RPG, the game is set a month after the events of its predecessor. It follows the story of several young warriors in a nation torn apart by war.
A distinctive feature of this title is the ability to build relationships between the player’s party members throughout the game. These ‘link levels’ enable three different kinds of attacks named ‘Tactical Links’, and adds some cool buffs to the party during a battle.
Also, by recruiting allies, players can have access to exclusive shops, goods, and game modes.

140 brings a minimalistic approach for gamers
This minimalistic platformer puts the player to avoid obstacles by following the rhythm of electronic music. As the game progresses, the soundtrack will change depending on the difficulty level. Its 2D environment and geometrical design have caused critics to compare ‘140’ with similar platformers such as ‘Sound Shapes’ and ‘The Bit.Trip’.

Getting back to the basics with Dogos
‘Dogos’ is a retro shooting game inspired by classics like R-Type and Desert Strike. However, the title keeps with the modern times, as it has 3D graphics and a dynamic camera. It also allows the player to move in any direction with an open world approach. ‘Dogos’ features plenty of explosions and challenging bosses, according to its creator, Pablo Testa.

Jotun: Valhalla Edition
The action-adventure title puts the player in charge of Thora, a Viking woman recently deceased. Her death was considered ‘inglorious’ by the Nordic gods, causing the warrior to prove herself in a battle to enter the Valhalla. The game features a hand drawn, frame-by-frame style, providing artful graphics.

Just Sing from Ubisoft brings the latest hit songs
Ubisoft is delivering this karaoke game to PlayStation. What sets it apart from similar titles is its mechanics. Players must download a smartphone app to use it as an audio and video output during lip sync, creating personalized performances. Users can also share their music videos online or store them in the console.
The game features several modern hits such as Meghan Trainor’s ‘All About That Bass’, The Weeknd’s ‘Can’t Feel My Face’, and ‘Drag Me Down’ by One Direction.

Oceanhorn: Monster Of Uncharted Seas
Another action-adventure like ‘Jotun’, but with fundamental differences. The title follows a boy’s quest to find his lost father and defeat a sea monster named ‘Oceanhorn.’ Players explore dungeons and fight several monsters with different weapons. Its 3D environment, in- game mechanics, and epic music have encouraged critics to compare the title with ‘The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker’.

Other titles of the list include a 10th anniversary of the classic shoot’em up, ‘Sky Force‘, and a Bullet Hell named ‘Touhou Genso Rondo: Bullet Ballet‘- Both games will be out tomorrow, August 6th.
