US – The Lenovo-owned company Motorola will be launching its Moto G Generation 3 phone on 28th July 2015. The company has sent invites for the events that will be held in New Delhi, New York, London and Sau Paulo. However, the specifications of the phone are already leaked by Flipkart. Phone’s all specifications, price and almost every detail of it has been leaked by the online retailer.
The Gen 3 phone will be available in two variants, namely, 8GB inbuilt storage with 1GB of RAM and 16GB storage with 2GB of RAM. The price for 8GB will be around Rs, 11,999. Flipkart says it’s a dual SIM phone with micro SIM cards, 5 inch HD display and gorilla glass, 1.4GHz Quad Core Qualcomm snapdragon 410 processors, expandable memory up to 32GB, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, 13 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera and it supports 4G LTE connectivity.
Specifications of Moto G Gen 3
Flipkart also says the retail box will be in purple color. The phone contents will be the same as other Moto phones; but it will have two back covers of blue and green color. Moto G Generation 3 phone’s front is very similar to Gen 2 phone; but its back is different. It has a vertical strip on its back with rear camera on one end and the Motorola logo on the other. Dual Led flash light is also on the vertical strip.
The India invite said, “A best friend will forever be ready to dance in the rain with you,” hinting that Moto G (Gen 3) would be waterproof. The IPX7 certification further cemented the speculations.
The new Moto G Gen 3 is clearly an upgradation of Gen 2 phone. It is upgraded in camera, battery, processor, and of course connectivity. The Gen 2 was launched in last September but it holds a special place in customers because of its range, looks, and specifications. And hope same happens with the new Moto g Generation 3. Moto G Gen 3 will give a tough challenge to other smartphones in coming days.
