LG has announced a pair of smartphones to debut in its X series, the X Cam and the X Screen. As claimed by LG, the main aim of this series is to bring down the prices of the devices that rival its premium range smartphones in terms of specs.
Both devices come in very reasonable pricing, without compromising the sleek looks and a solid performance.
LG X Cam
The LG X Cam sports a 5.2 inches wide IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels and 16M colors.
Underneath the hood, the phone is powered by a 1.14GHz octa-core processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of non-expandable internal storage.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the LG X cam packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
In terms of connectivity, the LG X Cam has been fitted with LTE antennas, 3G, GPS (with A-GPS), WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0 and FM radio.
To accommodate the HD 5.2-inch screen, LG has backed the device up with a non-removable 2,520mAh battery.
It measures 147.50 x 73.60 x 6.90 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 118.00 grams.
The device will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow straight out of the box, skinned under the LG Optimus UX 5.0.
It will be available in Titan Silver / White / Gold / Pink Gold colors.
LG X Screen
As for the LG X Screen, it sports a 4.93-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels and 16M colors.
Underneath the hood, it is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core chip accompanied by 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded.
As far as the cameras go, the LG X Screen packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
In terms of connectivity, the LG X Cam has been fitted with LTE antennas, 3G, GPS (with A-GPS), WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio and a single Micro-SIM.
To accommodate the HD 4.93-inch screen, LG has backed the device up with a non-removable 2,300mAh battery.
It measures 142.60 x 71.80 x 7.10 (height x width x thickness).
The device will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow straight out of the box, skinned under the LG Optimus UX 5.0.
It will be available in Black / White / Pink Gold colors.
