Franchises from around the world will gather in Las Vegas. The Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) convention is a forum where members of the small and large industry share views about the business. Over the course of four days, the event is scheduled to feature plenty of exhibits and outstanding speakers.
The IFA will take place at The Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas from January 27th to February 1st, 2017. Registrations are available at the convention’s official site until September 14th.
Attendees can participate in over 50 educational sessions and interactive roundtables. Also, the conference offers summits regarding franchise development, leadership, and operations. Executive breakfasts and lunches will take place every day.
Marcus Buckingham, a four-time best-selling author and leading business consultant, will be one of the convention’s speakers. He was a senior researcher at the Gallup Organization and has focused on methods to find strength roles in the workplace.
Other speakers include Anytime Fitness Co-founders Dave Mortensen and Chuck Runyon. Their company is the world’s largest and fastest-growing fitness club franchise, with over 3,000 units, according to the event’s press release.
IFA will feature over 50 exhibitors
One important part of the IFA is its exhibitions. Some of the franchises to expose are Bank of America, Zoom 7, The Wall Street Journal, DIRECTV, Safeguard, and Paycom. Also, The event is offering access to other 300 supporting companies.
IFA’s agenda
IFA will start on Saturday, January 28th, with special ICFE sessions, as well as NextGen orientation meetings for advisors. An invitation-only evening reception will close the day.
On Sunday, official registrations will be available. Followed by a series of committees from finance, VetFran, and legal departments. A Women’s franchise committee will also be part of the agenda. The activities will end with a New Member reception.
The next day will start at 7:15 am with a prayer breakfast. Then, a series of summits are set to take place during the morning. At noon, a Chairman’s reception with exhibitors would precede an international orientation meeting.
Tuesday features a Franchisee Forum at 12:30 pm, followed by a networking lunch with exhibitors where attendees can engage in networking. Activities also include Business Solutions roundtables, and a special gathering called ‘The Bash.’
The event offers post-convention workshops
The final day of IFA begins at 8:30 am with roundtables and continental breakfast. Then, a closing general session with brunch. After the official closure of the convention, CFE is offering an Emerging Franchisor Bootcamp to attendees.
The IFA is sponsored by companies like Pepsico, Go digital, and Duskin. More than 4,000 are expected to attend the event. The Price for registration is $2,250.
