Forza 3 introduces an open world exploration mode

September 27th marked the official date for the release of Forza Horizon 3 on both Xbox One and PC. Microsoft released three different versions for gamers to choose according to their needs and budget.

Forza Horizon 3 locates gamers in Australia, with different weathers and tracks to compete. The player will be the Manager of the Horizon Festival, an event with various types of races.  They will have to schedule the locations, dates, and create the tracks.

To get everything set, players will have an open world to explore with their cars. They can choose to design their races using this free exploration feature with no boundaries. After everything is set, players can compete against the AI or online players.

Many locations are available, from the major cities to mountainsides. Beaches are also included in the list. There are no limits for players when creating the perfect race track. The game will feature full 4K graphics during gameplay.

Forza Horizon 3 cars and custom options

Forza 3 lets players choose among 350 vehicles. They can fully explore their rides using  the Forza Vista system, which allows them to see the interior and exterior of the car. Players can also customize their vehicle’s horn sound, plates, and color. They can even personalize the driver avatar.

Forza Horizon has a less realistic physics system, but it still recreates a real life experience. Players need to choose which car to take for each track carefully. Each type of vehicle will have different advantages such as acceleration and maneuverability.

Developers promised they would release a monthly pack of cars. The DLC will contain a total of 10 different types of vehicles to complement the initial roster.

Forza Horizon 3 will feature the new system created by Microsoft. Xbox Play Anywhere lets players buy a copy of the game for either Xbox One or PC and immediately acquire a second copy for the other system. This allows them to synchronize saved data and DLC packs in both versions. Players can choose to play in either of the two platforms at any given time.

Forza Horizon 3 price

Microsoft will make three versions of the game. The Standard Edition will feature the full game with all of its basic features for $60. The Deluxe Edition will give players a VIP pass for extra experience in races and a special gift from the developers. They will also get the first DLC for free. This version has a $80 price tag.

Lastly, the Ultimate Edition will give players all of the contents from the deluxe edition but will also include a Car Pass. This particular ticket will provide six months of free DLC. This accounts for 60 different vehicles. The ultimate edition has a price of $100.
