Samsung hasn’t confirmed Android Nougat yet

Publishers are reluctant to make a formal promise to Samsung. Usually, the Korean company maintains a two-year period to update their devices and take about six months to get their hands on each new Android OS. Probably only Galaxy 6S and S7 will see the update, while S5 is not a safe bet and S4 can’t update to Marshmallow.

Blackberry is also very slow to update, while Huawei P9 and Huawei Mate 8 are expected to update early 2017.
