Once again, Texas is home to the 15thAustin City Limit music festival. The event promises to feature almost 60 bands. The first day was already a success among visitors who are enjoying of eight different scenarios.

The spotlight for the first day was RadioHead. They performed at the Samsung Stage for almost three full hours. However, many talented bands also participated during this first day, some of they were Mumford & Sons, LCD Soundsystem, Major Lazer, Flume, M83, Cage the Elephant, Two Door Cinema Club, Young the Giant, Local Natives, Foals, to mention a few.

The festival started on September 30 and will last up to October 9. Most of the tickets are already sold out, but visitors can still buy what is left on the official website. The general tickets cost $100, and the full three-day passes are available for $400.

The Austin 360 app is a great option for tourists

The official blog of the event announced the company would release the Austin 360 app. This application will help tourists locate specific concerts and stages. Also, it will hold the full schedule for movies available during the festival.

Restaurant and Hotels are going to upload special offers using this app. This strategy seeks to increase visits during the festival. People just need to present their smartphone when using any of the services.

Sponsor areas will be located strategically over the stages to giveaway souvenirs to fans who purchase tickets for the concert of the day. They will also serve as information points for tourists.

Lastly, the app will also help those wild adventurers who wish to take camp on the outskirts of Austin. This is a traditional way of enjoying the festival. Accordingly, authorities have mentioned they would pay particular attention to these campsites.

Red Bull TV will stream the festival

Lastly, those who cannot go to Texas still have an ace-up-the-sleeve. Red Bull TV is going to stream a live feed of the most important events of the day. people can sign up on their channel and enjoy the concerts from home.

Additionally, the Austin City Limit official blog will also have live performances for those users who participate in special events. Both of these options are entirely free and just require to create an account on either of the websites.
