Assassins Creed: The Ezio Collection: Trailer and price

Ubisoft finally released ‘Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection’ on Tuesday for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players eager to relive the epic adventures of Ezio Auditore. Produced in partnership with Virtuos, The Ezio Collection features enhanced graphics for next-gen consoles.

The three-part game saga comes as one of two Ubisoft titles launching on November 15.

The French developers also released the much-awaited sequel to the 2014 title ‘Watch Dogs.’ ‘Watch Dogs 2’ is now available on PS4 and Xbox One.

PC gamers will get the game by the end of the month.

‘Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection’ is on sale for $59.99 both in digital and physical disc versions. Select U.S. retailers will offer a free ticket to watch the ‘Assassin’s Creed’ film starring Michael Fassbender starting December 21, the week after the premiere.

Ezio Auditore is back

The ‘Assassin’s Creed’ franchise is now almost ten years old, and Ezio Auditore is perhaps the favorite assassin of the AC fanbase.

Ever since its introduction in ‘Assassin’s Creed 2,’ Ezio has been revered by fans as the most compelling character in the series both for its personality and the historical setting in which he sets out to rebuild the Assassin Order.

Ezio Auditore sees himself involved with major historical characters like Niccolo Machiavelli, Leonardo Da Vinci, Christopher Columbus, Cesare Borgia, Queen Isabella, and Prince Suleiman throughout his travels on the ‘Assassin’s Creed’ saga.

Set primarily during the Italian Renaissance, ‘Assassin’s Creed 2’ was also the second title of the franchise and the one in which Ubisoft started exploring the potential of the game.

‘Assassin’s Creed 2’ introduced better killing and stealth mechanics, while ‘Brotherhood’ and ‘Revelations’ started focusing more on the richness of the environment and immersive world-building.

‘Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection’ looks better than ever

Virtuos collaborated with Ubisoft to bring the remastered versions of ‘Assassin’s Creed 2,’ ‘Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood,’ and ‘Assassin’s Creed: Revelations’ together under a single title.

The Ezio Collection features revamped graphics, textures, lighting and overall visuals to the oldest titles of the series. All three games support 1080p output and Sony has issued an update preparing for 4K support on the PS4 Pro.

The CEO of Virtuos, Gilles Langourieux, expressed his satisfaction with the final product, saying the company took pride in “delivering best-in-class design and development.”

‘Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection’ is available both from Sony and Microsoft for $59.99. Select retailers will carry the title along with the limited offer for a free movie ticket to see ‘Assassin’s Creed’ in theaters nationwide.
