American rapper and actor 50 Cent has accused TV series Power, in which he portrays the main character, of showing his penis without permission. The hip hop artist aimed his rage at show creator Courtney Kemp Agboh in a series of now-deleted Instagram posts.
The strangest part of the story is that Curtis James Jackson III, aka 50 Cent, was initially excited about his manhood’s debut on the small screen.
The rapper even called the TV moment as his sex tape and explained that the scene, after footage edition, was supposed to be darker so his member wouldn’t appear. He said a producer told him it was still visible to what he responded, “I don’t care.”
Co-stars Lela Loren and Omari Hardwick are often naked in the show, so it didn’t seem to be a problem for him nor an exception within the show.
“MY PENIS IS GOiNG TO DEBUT!” said the renowned rapper 50 Cent during an interview with entertainment magazine TV Guide at the Beverly Hilton.
And then he was angry as hell
His humor changed before the premiere of the controversial episode, though, and things escalated quickly. Suddenly, 50 Cent became strangely mad at his penis debut and directed his ire at show creator and executive producer Courtney Kemp with several offensive Instagram posts, now erased.
In between insults the rapper said that his penis didn’t appear in the first three edits and that now his aunt couldn’t watch Power. It’s worth mentioning that back in March he claimed that he would no longer manage his Instagram account, choosing someone to do it for him instead.
It’s still unclear if Kemp was the producer that showed Curtis his member was invariably going to appear on the episode. But she certainly won’t be forgetting anytime soon all the bitches, fucks, motherfucks, shits, asses, and dicks 50 Cent aimed at her for supposedly not “telling him first” about the polemic cameo appearance.
50 Cent acts and produces in Power
Gladly for 50 Cent’s sake, he is also an executive producer for the TV series Power. He has devoted himself to the TV channel STARZ’s show since it debuted in 2014. Power is a crime drama that follows James “Ghost” St. Patrick, a wealthy New York nightclub owner who lives a double life as a drug kingpin. STARZ renewed the show for a fourth and fifth season in July.
Kanan, played by 50 Cent, was a recurring character during the first two seasons but became a primary role in season three. Curtis receives $20,000 per episode and $15,000 bonus for serving as the show’s executive producer. In the polemic scene, Kanan pleasures himself after his cousin Jukebox sends her girlfriend Candie to cheer him up.
