Nissan Motor Co Ltd. (NASDAQ: NSNY) will debut the elegant Black Pearl Edition of the 2017 Nissan Juke at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week. 2017 Nissan Juke Black Pearl is the third car created by the Juke Color Studio after Yellow and Black Stinger.
Juke Studio vehicles also enable customers to create custom color combinations of select exterior and interior pieces.
Black Pearl Edition design features
The Black Pearl retains the unique styling features of the Juke series and merges them with a more formal color palette.
The automaker also said it will have Super Black paint exterior with contrasting Pearl White accents and Black Pearl Edition 17-in gloss black aluminum wheels with 215/55R-17 all-season tires.
The Black Pearl Edition includes white bumper accents and white outside trim around the Juke headlights. The door handles, the caps on the outside of the rearview mirror and the rear spoiler are also white.
On the inside, the black heated seats are made of cloth and have white inserts and stitching. There are also white accents on the center console, shift gear, door panels, and the steering wheel.
2017 Nissan Juke Black Pearl specs
Like most Juke models, the Black Pearl runs on a 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine with 188 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque.
It has Nissan’s Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CTV), although customers can choose between the front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
It has fuel efficiency ratings of 28 miles per gallon in the city and 32 mpg highway for the front-drive version. The ell-wheel drive model has 26 mpg city and 30 mpg highway.
Price and release date
The Black Pearl Edition package has a price tag of $1,190 on top of the $23,490 for the front-wheel drive model or $25,340 for the all-wheel drive SUV.
Nissan will show the car at Los Angeles Motor Show and will launch it the first quarter of 2017. The company will be showcasing the vehicle alongside the 2017 Versa Note, Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition, and an unknown product.
