China – On Monday, July 20, 2015, UCWeb announced a major update to UC Browser for the users of Windows and iPhones. Many new advance features have been added with this new update, which is expected to be rolled out in the market very soon.

UC Browser and its features

This year in April, UCWeb launched UC Browser for Windows Phone. With the new update, UCWeb’s cloud-based features have been added successfully to the browser, which will allow the company to enable features like data compression, pause and resume downloads and others. After this major update, the company claims that the browsing speed will increase to a great extent as this upcoming technology will reduce the data consumption while browsing.

For iPhone users, this is the first update that they are getting for the iPhone version of UC Browser since October 2013. Although the update is not available for download right now; it is expected to come on the market very soon as UCWeb spokesperson told to NDTV Gadgets.

Other than the above listed features, the company also claims that the browser will automatically rearrange all the elements present on the webpage. This will give the best viewing experience to users. The webpage will load much faster and at the same time, consume less data.

One thing to note down for iPhone users is that data compression features are also available for them. It is not limited to only Windows users.
