India – This is definitely a good news for the people from Delhi and NCR region in India, who are thinking about purchasing Motorola devices. Motorola has recently announced a new doorstep after-sales service called Moto Xpress, which will begin in Delhi and NCR region to give their customers the best after-sales services.

The main intention behind this pick-up and drop service from Motorola is to rectify and repair any software and accessories related issues within a span period of an hour. But somehow if you are facing any hardware related issues then, according to Motorola, the Moto Xpress will resolve the issue within 5 working days.

Here is what the press statement says-

“In case, an issue arises with your Motorola smartphone, you can dial our Moto Xpress Service Booking number ‘011-41717124’. As you register your request, our service staff will reach out to a trained Motorola representative who will be at your doorstep on his bike,”

However, there’s a catch. This is not a free pick-up and drop service from Motorola as it will cost Rs. 199 per service for the user. There are around 160 Motorola service centers across the country and the company is planning to extend it more. With respect to this, Motorola has come up with its  first ‘Moto Care’ center in India, earlier this year. The Moto Care center is located in Bangalore, a metropolitan city in India with a total area spread across 3000 sq. ft.

The main aim behind the setup of Moto Care is to provide best-in-class service and support to the customers along with the facility of Experience Zone, where one can try Motorola phones before buying them online. These facilities and services will definitely help Motorola to extend their business. Currently Motorola has launched the 3rd generation Moto G along with two more new handsets called Moto X Play and the Moto X Style. It is possible that these services from Motorola affect the sales of Motorola smartphones in India.
