Evan Blass leaked information on Venture Beats saying HTC will launch two new devices in September. The new smartphones will be branded in the same line as the company’s flagship, the HTC 10. According to Blass then smartphones’ names are ‘Desire 10’ and ‘Desire 10 Lifestyle.’

The Desire 10 lifestyle is a 5.5-inch smartphone, 720p display. The device will feature metallic gold trim on critical hardware elements. The antenna cutout, flash, and camera lens will be trimmed in metallic gold. Unlike Desire models introduced this year, the Desire 10 Lifestyle will feature solid matte color styles.

The smartphones will also feature a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. It will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense, a back 13mp camera with BSI sensor and a single LED flash, a front 5MP camera wich has the BSI sensor. The desire 10 Lifestyle includes a Boomsound Hi-Fi Edition with stereo speakers.

The Desire 10 Lifestyle will feature 3GB RAM with 32GB storage or 2GB ram with 16GB storage configurations.

The new HTC’s smartphones will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow

As for the Desire 10, Blass revealed the smartphone should feature better specifications than the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle. Regarding the specs, there is no information about it. Blass didn’t come empty-handed, though.

He revealed the smartphone would be dubbed the Desire 10 Pro. It also showed two new photos showing a black and a white version. There are press renders of both the black and white models HTC Desire 10 Pro. These pictures show some signature characteristics of the new handset.

Its edges are different from the HTC 10. The handset’s camera is in the left corner instead of the middle. The other elements resemble the ones in HTC’s flagship.

On the photo, there are also some capacitive keys that appear to be “back”, “home”, and “recent apps” buttons. The smartphone is likely not to include a fingerprint sensor on the front. The sensor will be placed on the back of the device. The phone will include a Sim card slot on the left side, and the volume rocker and power button are placed on the right side.

These handsets are likely to become the new mid-range devices from HTC’s smartphone series. The Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle look like the replacements for the HTC One A9 and HTC One M9 presented last year.
